In the run-up to COP26 in Glasgow this autumn, Energy Monitor – in conjunction with its sister sites Capital Monitor, Tech Monitor, Investment Monitor and the New Statesman – will hold a series of virtual events aimed at business leaders, policymakers, sustainability officers, NGOs and investors.
‘Making sense of net zero’ will help arm attendees with the strategies and solutions needed to lead, innovate, collaborate and invest in the transition to a more sustainable society and drive change worldwide.
The four half-day events will examine what reaching net-zero emissions actually means for countries and companies, and whether such ambition is a risk or an opportunity for businesses. Experts will lead discussions on the best strategies for companies to meet ambitious carbon reduction demands and how policymakers can support businesses in making this transition.
This free-to-attend event will be a unique opportunity for business and policy leaders to come together and apply their collective expertise to some of the immediate challenges that will shape the COP26 agenda and beyond.
