Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is set to start construction work at Jack’s Lane wind farm project located between the villages of North Creake, Syderstone and Stanhoe in North West Norfolk, UK.
According to the company, the main construction work will begin on 17 March 2014 and will continue over the next 12-14 months.
The turbine deliveries and erection are expected to start in autumn 2014.
Once operational, the Jack’s Lane wind farm will generate enough electricity to power over 10,600 homes per year.
RES construction site manager Gary Scrowther said the wind project would be developed with highest possible standards and with minimum disruption to local people.
"Since the project was consented in January 2013, RES has worked closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that our traffic management and construction management procedures will protect the safety of local people and our workforce," Scrowther added.
