Nordex has secured won turbine delivery contracts totalling 55.3MW for the Yahyali and Geres wind projects in Turkey.

Sancak Enerji has assigned the first contract for the Yahyali wind farm to Nordex, which involves delivery and installation of 22 N117/2400 Generation Gamma turbines.

Located in Central Anatolia, the wind project faces an average wind speed of 6.6m/s.

Besides the wind equipment delivery, Nordex has also signed five-year premium service contract for the facility, it informed.

The second contract has been signed with renewable energy developer Dost Enerji.

Under the deal, the German wind equipment manufacturer will deliver a single N90/2500 turbine for the Geres wind farm in the country.

In June 2014, Nordex has also installed 11 Nordex N90/2500 turbines for the facility.

Adali Holding has also awarded contract to Nordex for a 45MW wind power project, under which it will deliver and install 15 N117/3000 generation delta turbines for the Kiyiköy wind project at Tekirdag province in northern Turkey.

Nordex has already installed around 6,000 turbines worldwide and has a total generation capacity of over 10,000MW.
