Neoen, a renewable project developer and owner, has selected QOS Energy’s O&M management platform to track the performance of the 315MW Hornsdale wind project, which will be amongst the largest wind farms in Australia once it is fully commissioned.

The project will consist of 96 Siemens 3.2MW wind turbines.

The wind farm is being developed in three stages of which two have been completed.

Neoen has deployed Qantum, the IEC compliant energy management SaaS powered by QOS Energy, to track the two first stages of the project.

Neoen stated that one key benefit is the fact that no additional hardware or system installation is needed onsite to run the software.

The platform collects and analyses data generated by each turbine for all values with the help of a VPN connection.
