JinkoSolar Holding has successfully connected two solar PV projects, totaling 39MW, to the grid in China.

The projects include a 24MW solar PV power plant in Xinyi and a 15MW solar PV facility in Jiangsu Province.

Latest development takes the company’s grid connected projects in the country to about 252MW, according to JinkoSolar.

Including subsidies from the local government, both the projects have secured 20-year subsidies of 1.125 RMB per KWh and 1.1 RMB per KWh, respectively.

The projects are claimed to be located in areas with the highest insolation level in Jiangsu Province.

JinkoSolar Holding chairman Xiande Li said the company is now expanding downstream business into eastern provinces of China.

"These two new projects are just the beginning as we focus on improving our competitive position in project development in China," Li added.

"The addition of these two successful projects demonstrates our commitment to expanding eastward as we continue to grow our PV project portfolio in 2014."

The company sells its solar products in the global PV market, including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the US, Eastern Europe, China, India, Japan and South Africa.
