Clean energy developer ET Energy has built six solar power projects in the UK on behalf of funds managed by Octopus Energy Investments.

The six facilities totaling 26 MWp were developed on a turnkey basis.

ET Energy president and CEO Dennis She said: “With these six UK solar projects, we have demonstrated again that we are capable of delivering high quality, investment grade solar project assets.

“They represent another example of our execution capabilities, as well as the success of our transition into the downstream segment of the market.”

ET Energy received the development rights to these projects last year following which it sold them to funds managed by Octopus Energy Investments.

Octopus Energy Investments head Matt Setchell said: “The 1.2 ROC subsidy cliff made this a challenging project.

All the six projects are ground mounted PV sites and are located in different locations across England, Wales and Scotland.

One of these facilities is situated in the dormant landfill site in Wales where the company faced designing, engineering and construction challenges, but it was successfully completed.
