Description

The project is being developed by Alfanar Energy and Thames Gateway Waste to Energy. The project is currently owned by Thames Gateway Waste to Energy.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 32,000 households.

The process of gasification will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste and municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
