Description

The project is developed and owned by Green Power Investment and Pattern Energy Group. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2023. The contracted capacity is 113.4MW.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 27 units of V117-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2023.
