Description
The project is currently owned by Orsted with a stake of 100%.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 55,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved
Babcock & Wilcox Volund supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 80bar.
