Description

The project was developed by San Carlos Solar Energy. ACEN and Bronzeoak Philippines are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

San Carlos Solar Energy-Philippines Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 350,000 square meters.

The project generates 35,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,000 households, offsetting 18,820t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in May 2014.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to National Transmission under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.16kWh for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Blue Leaf Energy Asia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Blue Leaf Energy Asia was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 88,300 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 33 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Mounting Systems.
