Description

The project was developed by AZ Solar 1. Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Alberta Investment Management and The AES are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 49%, 25.5% and 25.5% respectively.

Salome Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 210 acres.

The project generates 89,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,273 households, offsetting 30.753t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Central Arizona Project under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.025kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 32MW.

Contractors involved

Origis Technics USA was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Origis Services is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2019.
