The project was developed by ALLETE Clean Energy and Project Resources. Wisconsin Public Service and Madison Gas and Electric are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90% and 10% respectively.
The project generates 300,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 270,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The wind power project consists of 24 turbines each with 3.4 MW nameplate capacity and 4 turbines each with 2.5 MW nameplate capacity respectively.
