Description
The project was developed by E.ON Climate & Renewables North America. The project is co-owned by PensionDanmark and RWE Renewables Americas, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 114,000 households, offsetting 684,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Papalote Creek (Papalote Creek Phase I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V82-1.65 MW turbines. The phase consists of 109 turbines with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.
Papalote Creek (Papalote Creek Phase II) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-2.3-101 turbines. The phase consists of 87 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
