Description

The project is co-owned by Petroliam Nasional and Tenaga Nasional, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2029. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2030.
