Description

The project was developed by Finavera Wind Energy and Pattern Energy Group. The project is currently owned by Pattern Energy Group with a stake of 51%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 54,000 households, offsetting 627,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Borea Construction was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Meikle (Meikle IA) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 3.2-103 turbines. The phase consists of 35 turbines with 3.2MW nameplate capacity.

Meikle (Meikle IB) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.75-120 turbines. The phase consists of 26 turbines with 2.75MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
