Description

The project is being developed by Luang Prabang Power. CK Power Public, PT (SOLE), CH. Karnchang and PetroVietnam Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 42%, 38%, 10% and 10% respectively.

Luang Prabang is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 734 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 68m and 40m respectively. The project is expected to generate 6,854 GWh of electricity.
