Description
The project is being developed by Arise and Ownpower Sverige. The project is currently owned by Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners with a stake of 100%.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 273,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Kolvallen Wind Power Plant (Kolvallen Wind Power Plant-I), will have 135m high towers.
The Kolvallen Wind Power Plant (Kolvallen Wind Power Plant-II), will have 122.5m high towers.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in February 2025.
Contractors involved
Kolvallen Wind Power Plant (Kolvallen Wind Power Plant-I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 6.6-170 turbines. The phase consists of 41 turbines with 6.6MW nameplate capacity.
Kolvallen Wind Power Plant (Kolvallen Wind Power Plant-II) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 6.6-155 turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 6.6MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 35 years.
