Description
The project was developed by AEI Services and Parque Eolico El Arrayan. The project is currently owned by Arroyo Energy Investment Partners with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 348,560MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project has 80m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in June 2014.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Minera Los Pelambres under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2014. The contracted capacity is 80.5MW.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of SWT-2.3-101 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2014, for a period of 5 years.
