Description
The project is being developed by MFW Baltyk III and Polenergia. Equinor and Polenergia are currently owning the project.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 2,100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 116km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
Contractors involved
Baltyk Srodkowy III (Baltyk Srodkowy III Phase I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 14-236 DD turbines. The phase consists of turbines with 14MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Baltyk Srodkowy III (Baltyk Srodkowy III Phase I).
