Description

The project is being developed by Azad Pattan Power. China Gezhouba Group and Laraib Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

Azad Pattan is a run-of-river with pondage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 14.3 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 64.24m and 61.7m respectively. The project is expected to generate 3,064 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 178.9MW nameplate capacity.

China Gezhouba Group and China Gezhouba Group International Engineering are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the hydro power project.

Power Universal Investment is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the hydro power project for a period of 30 years.
