ET Solutions, a subsidiary of ET Solar Energy, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Turkey-based MEL Solar Energy to develop solar projects.

As part of the agreement, ET Solutions, along with MEL, will construct 50MW solar projects in Turkey by 2015.

ET Solar Energy president and CEO Dennis She said the entry into Turkish market represents a significant landmark for company’s system business.

"With our EPC execution and financing capabilities, we are well positioned to grow our business in this emerging market," She added.

MEL Solar Energy general manager Borga Karagülle said, "With their technical support and our local network to companies and institutions, we are sure that we will have outstanding growth and first PV projects commissioned in short time."

ET Solar has also commissioned a 7.8MW PV power plant in Israel for EDF Energies Nouvelles.

The project was built in cooperation with ET Solar’s Israeli partners G-Systems and Elmor, which is located in Mishmar Hanegev, around 100 km south of Tel-Aviv.

ET Solar has supported the power plant with electrical design and plant layout, quality control, construction supervision and commissioning services, which holds the capacity to produce 13.8 million kWh of clean and renewable energy each year.
