Description
The project is being developed by PT Medco Cahaya Geothermal. PT Medco Power Indonesia and Ormat Technologies are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The geothermal power project will consists of 2 turbines each with 55 MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.085kWh for a period of 30 years.
