Description

The project was developed by HDFC Sinpower. Sinenergy Holdings, Ditrolic Energy Holdings Sdn and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65%, 20% and 15% respectively.

Mymensingh Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 174 acres.

The project generates 78,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 54,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 173,000 modules.

Development status

The project got commissioned in April 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Bangladesh Power Development Board under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.17kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

Contractors involved

Ditrolic Energy Holdings Sdn and Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Huawei Technologies supplied 332 of its SUN2000-185KTL inverters to the project site.
