The project was developed by EDF Renewables Canada. Desjardins Group Pension Plan, EDF Renewables Canada and Blood Tribe Community are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 37.5%, 37.5% and 25% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 120,000 households.
