FRV Goonumbla Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 150 hectares.
The project generates 195,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 45,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Snowy Hydro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
Contractors involved
Chint Solar Japan and Grupo Gransolar were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Chint Solar Japan was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 269,235 modules at the site.
The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by PV Hardware Solutions SLU.
Grupo Gransolar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
