Description

The project was developed by Gulf International Holding. Gulf International Holding and Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Zone are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90% and 10% respectively.

GTN2 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 50.06 hectares.

The project generates 78,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 63,669 households, offsetting 62.29t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 151,500 modules, each with 330W nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in April 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 36MW.

Contractors involved

JGC Vietnam was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
