Description
The project is being developed by European Energy and Taaleri Energia. Taaleri Energia and Lords LB Asset Management are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 240,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 116,000 households. The project is expected to offset 72,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project will have 151m high towers.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Axpo Nordic under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.
Contractors involved
GE Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 13 units of GE-158-5.5 turbines, each with 5.5MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 30 years.
