Description

The project is being developed by Electrum, Energix Polska, Erbud, PBDI and Vestas Wind Systems. The project is currently owned by Energix Renewable Energies with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 580,000MWh electricity to offset 362,073.305t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase A), site are expected to be 125m high.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase A) will be sold to Axpo Polska under a power purchase agreement from 2015. The offtake capacity is expected to be 50MW.

The power generated from the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase B I) will be sold to Axpo Polska under a power purchase agreement from 2016. The offtake capacity is expected to be 20MW.

The power generated from the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase B II) will be sold to Axpo Polska under a power purchase agreement from 2016. The offtake capacity is expected to be 36MW.

The power generated from the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase C) will be sold to Axpo Polska under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 81.4MW.

Contractors involved

Power Engineering is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase A).

Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase A) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V100-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 25 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase B I) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V110-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase B II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V100-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 18 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Banie-Kozielice (Banie Phase C) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V110-2.2 MW turbines. The phase consists of 37 turbines with 2.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract tenure will likely be commencing from 2015, for a period of 15 years.
