Description

The project was developed by ENGIE North America. ENGIE North America, Axium Infrastructure and Mitsui are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 30% and 30% respectively.

The project generates 330,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 19,000 households.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 80m high.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to New Brunswick Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2009.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2012, for a period of 10 years.
