Description
The project was developed by EDF Renewables. EDF Renewables, Dalmore Capital and Pensions Infrastructure Platform are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 24.5% and 24.5% respectively.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.
The project generates 200,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 40,000 households, offsetting 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 27 units of SWT-2.3-93 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
EDF EN Services UK and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
