The project was developed by Catamount Energy, DKRW Wind, Duke Energy Renewables and Iberdrola Australia. Duke Energy Renewables, John Hancock Life Insurance and Leeward Renewable Energy are currently owning the project.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5s turbines. The phase consists of 25 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater II) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 65 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater III) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5s turbines. The phase consists of 90 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater IVA) is equipped with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MWT62/1.0 (MWT-1000A) turbines. The phase consists of 135 turbines with 1MW nameplate capacity.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater IVB) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-2.3-93 turbines. The phase consists of 46 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

Sweetwater (Sweetwater V) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-2.3-93 turbines. The phase consists of 35 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

Deutsche Windtechnik, Diamond WTG Engineering & Services and GE Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
